About us

Latapiswood is a family company in Latvia, engaged in woodworking. Its traditions and experience in woodworking have been formed since 2013, when we started making various things needed for the farmhouse and, for the improvement of the house built by the husband's hands, we had to create unique furniture and interior items.
Love for nature, responsible use of local resources, in a sense also the desire to live an authentic life in the countryside and create our ideal workplace was the determining factor that motivated us to focus even more on woodworking.

Latapis products come from the forests owned by the family, which, by caring for them responsibly, we get timber that we cut and dry by ourselves. And then we process them, creating more and more new products in a restored cottage built by my husband's grandparents.
We use a lot of handwork in our work, so each item has been touched and  caressed for a long time. It is fantastic and not less important that we heat the workshop using only wood leftovers and scraps, thus we save nature and are an environmentally friendly company.
We are very happy to be able to help and make our customers happy by making their dreams come true and creating products together.
